There are so many factors involved in whether or not sickness sticks. Sickness and germs are in our world. In fact, I recently listened to a broadcast where they cited a study conducted in major cities across the globe and guess what? All the major pathogens were found in the air in those cities.

But—people stay relatively healthy. It is the grace and goodness of God.

What we can do on our side is to follow the pillars/principles of health:

1 eat real food, not junk

2 get sleep (start winding down and keep the screens out and big lights off about two hours before bedtime)

3 exercise or some kind of movement

4 sunshine and/or vitamin D

5 drink clean water (get a filter)

6 breathe clean air (change your house filters)

7 manage stress

I add—spend time in the written Word of God and in prayer and reflection (thanksgiving, etc.)

That being said, I have looked for years into root causes.

Several years ago, I was looking into helping a family whose son contracted pneumonia, more than once.

Now, there seems to be a twist on C&vid—that it has hit some people in the form of pneumonia.

There is a factor that there can be a generational weak spot where certain sicknesses seem to hit specific people harder.

I remember my Grandmother saying with grave concern, “Cover your chest or you’ll get the pneumonia.” It was a real fear, because many children died of it, and they could not seem to protect a child once pneumonia started. This became a generational fear.

There are also spirits from His ancient enemy who attempt to gain access by continuous mental assault on places that are already weak.

However, recognizing, resisting, prayer and communion are weapons.

Communion and prayer are actually LIVING. There is LIFE and POWER in them through the blood of the Lamb and your faith combined to combat “weapons” launched against you—these weapons do include sickness.

I felt impressed to look at the CDCs factors for cause for pneumonia and Holy Spirit directed me to translate these from both knowledge gained over the years through Henry Wright’s and Arthur Burk’s ministries and through revelation.

Bacteria infection causes pneumonia.

In the below, I have three categories for each entry: 1. The physical signs in the body 2. What we can change 3. Spiritual exchange that needs to be made.

Physical signs – (can be changed by us) – spiritual exchange

Upper respiratory holding our breath – fear – Holy Spirit breath

Chronic heart issues emotions – fear and/or grief embedded in the heart – Christ, Son

Chronic lung breath – connect also to muscles/Exhorter (fear and/or sin not cleared out) – Holy Spirit

Diabetes factor – rejection from father – acceptance by Father

Immune compromised – feel victimized/not discerning between right and wrong and/or not getting wrong cleaned up by confession and receiving His forgiveness and His blood – Christ shield

All of these then impact the brain by turning ON the wrong switches. This is connected to epigenetics. The simple explanation is that generational iniquity and generational weak places can cause switches on the genes to be turned on or off. Science will point to all kinds of factors that impact epigenetics, but a main factor is family lines, and family lines, or family health history is connected to the spiritual health of the family. In the case with pneumonia, the wrong switches were on, if it was a somewhat chronic condition.

Yes, the spiritual does impact the physical. However, we can change the outcome, even the expression of DNA, by taking care of business with our Heavenly Father who has already done everything on His end to reconcile us.

I am sharing this with you today, not as an exhaustive study, but as assistance for you and your family in shoring up the foundation by offering a prayer strategy as we stand in this C&vid situation.

Below is a prayer guide I wrote that you can use for you and your family. Feel free to adjust it as led.

Prayer Guide

Father, thank You for the blood of the Lord Jesus Christ which covers me so I can come before You. I confess personally and generationally that I have had many fears, and have held my breath. I am offering You the key to these parts of myself to fill me with the Holy Spirit’s breath. I confess I have based my reactions in many cases on emotions rather than truth—that I have learned and acted on fears which have solidified these neuropaths and flipped ON switches in my brain You did not intend—and so Father I give you the key for the Son to live in my organic heart by faith.

Father, where I felt and acted on rejection by earthly fathers, here, come in and cause me to align with truth, I AM ACCEPTED BY YOU as Father and it is the safe place to be. Where I have been victimized and my boundaries not respected or recognized and so I learned that it is to be expected to be victimized, Father, I transfer this key to You. You respect my boundaries and You do not victimize at all, and You furthermore are against bullies. So, adjust me to this truth and settle me that it is OK to speak up for myself with truth and grace and give me emotional confidence in Your protection and light to heal the places I misinterpreted what was going on. Also, Father, I confess all my sins known and unknown against You and people, and the hidden sins in the darkness in my heart. I confess and renounce them and send them to the Cross. I receive Your blood to cleanse and make me clean. Make me new in You.

Christ be my shield on all fronts. Now, I ask You to shield me so I can heal, and release a restraining order to the unclean spirits, and every enemy on every front, that have taken advantage of my weak spots. Cleanse and heal them within me, Father, and make them strong.

I invite You to cleanse, heal, order, align and direct my neurological systems, and the Son to cleanse, heal, order, align and direct my cardiovascular systems, and the Holy Spirit to cleanse, heal, order, align and direct my pulmonary systems to make the crooked places in me straight (down to the DNA) and the weak places (specifically in my brain and other systems) strong. I forgive, release and bless any person who sent an assignment curse or judgment to me, and I place the cross between me and them. Shield me on all fronts Father and bring great redemption here in the mighty name of the Lord Jesus Christ, amen.”
